Elevated Survivorship Receives $15,000 Grant from Chicago Foundation for Women

Elevated Survivorship is proud to announce a $15,000 general operating grant from the Chicago Foundation for Women’s South Side Giving Circle — a powerful investment in our mission to reduce breast cancer mortality among African American women through policy advocacy, systems change, and community-powered solutions.

This support strengthens our Pinkprint, our strategic blueprint for addressing breast cancer mortality on Chicago’s South Side, rooted in the lived experience of survivors themselves.

We’re also celebrating a special milestone for our Founder & CEO, Angela K. Waller, MA, who was honored with the South Side Giving Circle’s $3,000 Leadership Award for her vision and impact in the community.

Thank you to the Chicago Foundation for Women for believing in our work and in the power of the South Side. Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger, and more equitable future.
